Masombra

The Great Mother, The Warrior Mother

Masombra is known throughout Clydira as the Great Mother, and is one of the few Ascendants to achieve a level of reverence by other races, especially the elves. In all aspects of her lore, she is seen as a maternal figure, which is surprising because it is also known that she herself never bore a child.

Instead, Masombra travelled to all edges of Clydira that were ravaged by wars, and cared for the sick, and the dying. However, a special place was held within her heart for war-orphens, and it is for that reason that Masombra founded her clan. Amongst its walls all races were welcome, K'Tri and elves of all types, along with the occasional Whistler. No person or child, if they were in need, were ever turned away, a policy that the clan has held true to even today.

Masombra's nurturing nature was balanced by a keen need to protect and seek justice for those who harmed others. Anyone who found themselves under her care also found themselves under the protection of one of the most battle-hardened K'Tri ever to walk the earth. Her skill in combat and almost god-like defensive psionic abilities, coupled with her philanthropic actions has made Masombra the patron Ascendant of doctors, healers and mothers, as well as the Defensive Psion branch of the K'Tri military.
