Terrat

The Forest Warden

As a member of the first clan of K'Tri created by the gods millennia past, and the first K'Tri gifted by the dragons to Ascend, Terrat holds a special place in the K'Tri pantheon.

Although, like the other Ascendants, he is not considered a god, or even a demi-god, Terrat is no less revered throughout the K'Tri civilization. He is known for his good humour, his quick with, his skill with the blades given to him by the dragon-gods themselves. And of course, Terrat is noted for his distinct appearance, noticeably draconic, as is the rest of the clan that he founded.

During the war against the Andulan subjugation of the K'Tri, Terrat and his kin functioned as spies and assassins. Their small size was an asset for them, instead of a subject of ridicule. Terrat himself took on many of the most dangerous of these missions, and for his bravery was rewarded by the dragon-gods with his Ascension, as well as the powers of a defensive psion.

After the war however, Terrat quickly became bored with the daily monotony of establishing the K'Tri civilization. Adventure was in his blood, and so he set out to discover what lay beyond the Tower of Rylon. As he traveled east across the continent of Eluthera, Terrat eventually came to the edge of an immense forest. His curiosity piqued, he ventured in and after weeks of travel came across a grove of Istus Trees. The trees, sentient themselves, welcomed him. They told him of their history, of their fear of destruction at the hands of the mortal races. After some time, the Istus trees offered Terrat and his clan a home, so long as they would protect them from outside threats. Terrat agreed, and since that time, the Terratus Clan has lived amongst the Istus groves of Eastern Eluthera, guarding the Great Forest of Lamlorien.
