Atalyan

• Height: 5 ½ - 6 ½ feet
• Clan Characteristics: Stocky, muscular build. Pound for pound the Atalyan clan members are second to only the Nosferatus clan in terms of raw strength. Possessed of "dragon" feet.
  
• Sexual Characteristics: Males can have horns made of keratin, and can be trimmed or molded depending on current fashion.
  
• Skin Colors: Muted shades of red, green blue, white or grey, varying in hue or brightness.
  
• Eye color: Tones of blue, green and brown.
  
• Hair color: Shades of black, brown and blonde and Atalyan red, which is a true red color specific to this clan (and seen as a mark of prestige)
  
• Lifespan: Average is seventy-five years, with record being 112.
  
• Territory: Northwestern Eluthera: vast open plains perfect for major agricultural ventures. Capital is Delos, located on the western coastline.
  
• Alliance: Plains elves, some mountain elves. Closely aligned with the Masombrian clan.
  
• Rivals: Nosferatus clan.
  
• Government: Monarchy - Equal Primogeniture. Psions not allowed to rule. Teo Windrider - King; Miria Windrider - Heir Apparent, Crown Princess; Kenneth Ferrall - King Consort; Adaf Windrider - Succeeding Crown Prince; Tara Windrider - Princess Royal

The Atalyan clan is the largest of all the K'Tri clans, and is also by far the most militaristically powerful, thanks in no small part to the recent restructuring by King Teo Windrider. While not implicitly required, many Atalyan youths both male and female join the military after graduation from secondary school. The clan also has a strong trade industry due to their central location on Clydira and easy access to the elven territories. Many clans rely on the Atalyans for their grain supply, resulting in many farmers being possessed of extreme wealth. By being such a strong militaristic force, the Atalyans are also renown for the quality of their weapons and armor, although they are not considered as beautiful or elegant as something elven forged.

The clan is "Ket'bani" or true-blooded, but does not cast out its members who crossbreed or have mixed blood themselves.
Because of their militaristic might, the Atalyan clan is often considered the watchdogs of the K'Tri. They govern more watchtowers and guard posts than any other separate clan, and also have more guard presence along the Kaitafiken border than any other clan combined.
