The Kaitafiken Clan

Clan features, height, hair eyes and lifespan are all dependant upon the individual's native clan.
Territory: Central Eluthera, in the Valporan Desert. Borders the Ban'Undi. Capital of Nebeyus.

Government: None formally recognized, as the Kaitafiken clan is essentially a self-sufficient prison colony.

The Kaitafiken Clan is not a clan in the traditional sense, as it is comprised of the banished criminals from clans who don't participate in a form of death sentance, although for the social K'Tri race, banishment can many times be worse than death. In accordance to their punishment, many clans will mark the criminal, either by brand or tattoo, as well as sterilizing the individual. Also, if the offender is a psion, most clans will strip the psion of their powers, a painful and extremely dangerous procedure.

As stated, the clan itself is self-sufficient. It is located in the ancient city of Nebeyus, a city who's population was exterminated by a freak storm on the Ban'Undi millennia ago. Celosian K'Tri placed a shield barrier, similar to a dome, over the city when it was converted into a prison, thereby preventing any of the poisonous winds or sands from entering the barrier. Natural elements, such as wind and rain, will still penetrate the shield however, just nothing with the deadly Ban'Undi magic. This barrier, though it protects the clan, is also the true prison, as it prevents any within its shield from leaving. To pass through the shield one must know an elaborate incantation, given only to clan leaders and those guards in charge of ensuring the stability of the prison.

The Kaitafiken clan mostly reside within the walls of the former palace. They receive their sustenance by farming what they can from the fields within the dome, as well as by what meats the aforementioned guards may bring.
